You can do the cross-up tactic which AI's can hardly defend, try and get a knockdown and then cross them up whenever they wake up, they usually can't block those. He's (+4) after that so don't hit anything! When in V-Trigger, he always combo his Knee Presses with EX Inferno. Likes to sweep when you whiff medium and heavy attacks from mid-range.Īlways charging that HK Knee at mid-range which is (-2) on block so if your character does not have a 5 frame attack, I wouldn't risk it everytime since he has a 3 frame light attack into LP Knee Press. Likes to devil's reverse from time to time at long ranges. This will beat most of your jump attempts especially if he's within perfect jump-in range. I play alot of CPU matches and Bison is indeed one of the most annoying CPU there is.Īnti-air with cr.HP if you do any jump-ins. Is this an anomaly? Am I just still too shit and just need to get going again and again until I finally get it? Or should I just forget the CPU and play online to improve? (I just imagine everyone online right now is very experienced). I know I am not supposed to be any good right now, but it's like a sudden brick wall on both modes and rather than steadily improve I am just plateauing and getting nowhere.
These two issues are causing me so much frustration.
I have tried trying again over and over and over against the same opponent just trying to learn and improve but it feels like the CPU knows always what I'm going to do and counters or blocks everything apart from a few cheap crush counters that don't even feel skilful on my part. On vs CPU mode, I can beat level 5 difficulty CPU with my favourite characters, but level 6 seems impossible for me. I can breeze through the entirety of the mode until that specific fight then I just get chained to death in seconds and have to start from square one.
I've beaten Story mode and I can comfortably clear Survival on easy, I am stuck on two things however:Īs my favourite characters I cannot beat Bison on stage 30 of survival. I played about 6 weeks of SFV when it first came out, and I'm jumping back in again for AE as it's always been a dream of mine to get stuck in and get good.
